Industry Specific ComplianceThe All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on July 16, 2026, issued a notification regarding Safeguarding the admission prospects of CBSE Class XII students seeking admission to Higher Education for the Academic Session 2026-27.

The following has been stated: -

•The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has advised all AICTE-approved institutions, universities, and State/UT admission authorities to provide suitable flexibility for CBSE Class XII students awaiting the outcome of post-result services, such as verification, photocopies of answer books, and re-evaluation.

•Institutions may, wherever feasible and in accordance with applicable admission rules, allow such students to participate provisionally in the admission process.

•Students must submit their final Class XII mark sheet and other required documents within the timelines prescribed by the respective institution or admission authority.

•The advisory aims to ensure that eligible students are not denied admission opportunities solely due to delays in the CBSE post-result process while maintaining fairness and regulatory compliance.
